Cooktown Postcard

This is a painting I did to represent Cooktown, a few of its buildings and the esplanade with its lovely artwork, as well as the Endeavour in the back.

Cooktown is a small town located in Far North Queensland, Australia. It's a historically significant place as it's where Captain James Cook landed and spent time repairing his ship, the Endeavour, in 1770 after it was damaged on the Great Barrier Reef. 

Inspired by holiday photos, Linda and the Cat Nomads are exploring cool places.            Made from thick card stock and measures 14.8 x 10.5 cm.
