I immigrated to Australia from New Zealand many years ago as I wanted to explore this wonderful country. The plan was to live in as many different towns as possible. I thought the best way to explore was to actually live in the area.

I have always painted, usually in Acrylic, and then I found a love for watercolours. When covid happened I started to explore this with humorous illustrations of what was happening during this crazy time. I later published my book, Linda in isolation. 

I wanted to paint more of my surroundings, but as I travelled around I found a limited selection of postcards, so I started painting my own. I started the Linda and Cats postcards, no I don't own cats as I travel and it would be impossible to have some. I felt she needed to travel with something.  I thought what do single women attract? Cats, and if I wasn't a nomad I would have a few by now. I love them.

I'm a self-taught artist, trying many things. Travelling, exploring, learning and painting.
